We retail and state some of the main differences:

Gateron Yellow Milky Top Black Bottom:

Has a more balanced sound and people turn to this for a better, lower sound profile. The switch base is black, blocking out any RGB.

Gateron Yellow Full Milky:

The main draw is allowing DIFFUSED light to pass through. The sound profile is similar, not too high pitched and not too loud.

Gateron Yellow SMD 3 pin:

The SMD Yellow has a clear top as well as a cut-out for LEDs that jut out of the PCB, making it the most adaptable for RGB based builds.

Gateron Pro 2 Yellow 5 Pin:

This features a top mold similar to the Gateron North Pole, allowing for maximum RGB entry. A step up from GPRO. Slight internal changes are also made (unreleased info).

Gateron Pro 3 Yellow 5 pin:

This features the Milky Top Black Bottom that people love for the supposedly better and lower sound profile. Now, with factory lubrication as well as triple layered bottom pins for better durability.

This option is to provide greater flexibility but we highly recommend getting in increments of 10 switches.

Do note that it is normal for pins to be bent during delivery and you can carefully bend them back.
